Professional Editing Services
I hold a master’s degree in English Literature from the University of Minnesota, and my assistant holds a bachelor’s degree in English and a professional editing credential from the University of Chicago. We provide developmental editing, line editing, optional rewrites, and meticulous proofreading.

Patrick Day is the author of ten books and has helped publish more than forty books for independent authors. Through Pyramid Publishing Services, he provides professional formatting, cover design, and publishing support for authors seeking a reliable and transparent path to self-publication.
As both an author and publishing professional, Patrick understands the challenges writers face in bringing a manuscript to completion. He works directly with clients throughout the process, combining technical publishing knowledge with a commitment to clear communication, accountability, and personal attention to every project.
Managing Editor
Lauren Redetzke assists with editorial review and publishing support at Pyramid Publishing Services. Over time, she has advanced into the lead editor on several book projects, including memoir and nonfiction works.
On a recent memoir, Lauren independently transformed it from a good book into something far stronger and more compelling through thoughtful reorganization, improved flow and structure, and strong developmental and line editing.
Known for her attention to detail and editorial instincts, Lauren brings professionalism, clarity, and a careful reader’s perspective to every project she works on.
