All projects are paid for through Upwork using Upwork’s Direct Contracts system. This provides protection and accountability for both the author and the publisher throughout the project.

Here’s how the process works:

  • We discuss your project and put together a contract based on the scope of the work we agree upon.
  • You sign up for Upwork and accept the contract.
  • Your payment is placed securely in escrow — not paid directly to us upfront.
  • Work begins once the contract is approved.
  • Payment is only released when the agreed-upon work is completed and you are satisfied with the results.
  • If expectations are not met, you are not obligated to release payment.

To help authors feel confident before committing to a full project, we can also provide a sample portion of the work — such as formatting a first chapter — so you can see the quality and approach before moving forward.

What Our Clients Say About Us

After a free consultation with Patrick about self-publishing a children’s book, he decided to take on my project, and a collaboration of teamwork began. Though I lacked the technical skills needed to create and get a book printed and published, he guided me every step of the way through an exchange of emails and phone calls. I am grateful for his technical advice and encouragement and feel I now have a new friend.   –Sue Kuzma, Author, Nana Nature and Axl

I had a bad experience with my first publisher and wanted to find someone new. A pastor suggested Pyramid Publishing Services. They published The Bible Explained, and the whole process was seamless and professional and turned out so well I used them for my next ten books. In this day of business people wanting to make a fast buck, it’s refreshing to work with someone I can trust to do what is best for me. –Allen Linn, Bible Scholar and Teacher

My objective was to create a devotional book for wives of military personnel. Patrick went above and beyond my hopes and expectations. In addition to having a heart for the Lord, Patrick is a nice and reasonable person who is punctual and intelligent. I am quite proud of my book. Without Patrick, it would not have been possible. –Madelyn Monteith, Author, Embracing the Call

“I love my book.”

“I got my book in the mail today, and it is beautiful. The colors are sharp on the outside and they pop out on the inside. I’m so proud of it. Thanks for all you did to make it happen. Cheers to a great project we can both be proud of.” G.S.

“I appreciated the continuing support.”

“Even after Mr. Day published my book, he was open to my contacting him if I had any questions on ordering, making changes to my book, or promotion.” Ric H

“What would I do without your knowledge and experience!   I appreciate you!” Ana K

“This was self-publishing made easy.”

“Pyramid Publishers provided structure, editing, layout, publishing and marketing to support my writing.” John Homme, Author, The Best View on the Farm

“Coaching was what I needed.”

When I first started a large-scale book series, I knew almost nothing about the publishing process or even how to properly format a book manuscript. Pat guided me through every stage with patience and encouragement. He helped me avoid many common pitfalls, provided the formatting structure I needed, guided me through cover design decisions, and walked me step-by-step through the KDP publishing process.

Beyond the technical help, Pat was also a tremendous encourager. Whenever I shared new content, he gave thoughtful feedback and encouragement that helped me keep moving forward. His coaching and support have been invaluable in helping bring this series of books to life. Dale L
